Matched close enough that you stop looking for the line

Refinish work here is done by PPG certified paint specialists, and the whole point of the process is that a repaired panel should not look repaired. The colour is matched to the vehicle, not to a swatch on a chip chart, and it is blended into the panel next to it rather than stopped cold at the seam. That is what a reviewer meant when they said the work went from paint to match upgrades to hail or collision repair without ever looking like a patch job.

How a panel gets blended

The damaged panel is stripped, filled and primed, then colour matched and sprayed. Rather than stopping the new colour at the panel edge, it is faded out across the adjoining panel as well, because that is the only way the eye cannot find where the repair starts. It costs more time in the booth, and it is the difference between a repair you can see and one you cannot.

Every panel goes into the same booth. It is masked off in paper and plastic so nothing but the repair gets touched, primed, then colour matched and sprayed before the clear coat goes on. Bring in a photo of the colour you are chasing and we will tell you what it takes to hit it.
